Leap of Faith – Life with Yoga

Hello and welcome to this space! I am so glad to be able to connect with you here. My name is Gayle Nerva, and I am an artist, singer, musician, intuitive mover and embodied wellness guide.

Storytime – Back in 2017, I hit the big sad. I had lost sight of who I was, and no longer loved myself. After years of following everyone else’s expectations about how to look, act, and be, I decided to make a change. I took a leap of faith and walked away from the media industry, which I had been a part of since I was 16. I signed up for a Yoga Teacher Training overnight. I knew very little about the practice, but I followed my intuition, and the rest as they say, is history.

What I love about yoga is how it’s a continuous discovery. Every day, it teaches me something new about myself and shifts my perspective on the world. Yoga has made me calmer, more focused, disciplined, light-hearted, and at peace with who I am.

But beyond that, it’s the way yoga brings us closer to ourselves and to each other. I love encouraging people to find their inner strength and embrace who they truly are. I’m passionate about inspiring others to share their gifts, to be kinder, to grow into the best versions of themselves. Yoga’s unique way of uniting us in the pursuit of wisdom, compassion, and peace is a practice that inspires connection—within, with others and with all of nature.

Whether you’ve practiced with me before, or you remember me from television, social media, or my music, I’m truly grateful you’re here. I hope this space offers us the chance to connect, grow, and evolve in a loving, conscious, and compassionate way.

nervana movement

I created nervana movement as a way to share all of my loves and passions for living and for us to nourish and understand our human spirit together as a loving community.

This holistic and healing practice combinds the wisdoms of yoga, movement, music, dance, rituals, meditation, and creative expression, as a way to bring more joy, peace & liberation into our embodied experience of life.

Our 6 core tenets are:

Ahimsa - NON-HARM, COMPASSION

Asana - SEAT OF CONNECTION

Nada - SOUND & MUSIC

Svadhyaya - STUDY OF SELF

Dhyana - MEDITATION

Bhakti - DEVOTION OF LOVE

My hope is that I can offer all the lessons that life has offered me to you, and that we may exchange ideas, philosophies, stories and inspire each other to live and die beautifully.

I can’t wait to meet you in person soon!

🤍 all my love, Gayle
